Peter Martino is a law professor, attorney, former CEO, former member of the federal government’s Senior Executive Service, and former nuclear submarine officer. A 1985 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, he later graduated cum laude from Georgetown Law and practiced as a litigator in New York City.
His career has also included senior leadership in both government and business. After appointment by President George W. Bush, Martino served as COO of the Office of Critical Infrastructure Protection at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Martino has led financial software, retail, and ecommerce companies and was twice honored as CEO of an Inc. 5000 company. His career has spanned law, technology, business leadership, and public service, giving him an unusually broad perspective on evidence, decision-making, and complex problems.
Professor Martino’s writing explores questions at the intersection of law, history, evidence, and faith. Resurrection on Trial is his first published book, and he is currently at work on its follow-up, The Devil on Trial. He was inspired to write by his father, an author of thirty books. Professor Martino is the proud father of five children and grandfather of three, and he lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
